Faust was asked to design an exhibition catalog for the Art+Design department's MFA candidates with restricted donor funds earmarked for such a purpose. The school also wanted to get extra mileage from the piece since, surprisingly, no marketing collateral for the program existed. Faust conceived a way to slip in marketing content in the context that it was the "soil" from which the MFA candidates' work product was cultivated. The cover art was inspired by the question: Can credible artists come out of a school positioned in so unapologetically in the Midwest? Faust handled project management, concept and design development, art direction, and print management.
